Our Story

In a small and fertile corner of Costa Rica, where the land tells stories of past generations, Happy Roots was born. Our story begins in a humble village, where the fields have been our home and agriculture our life. Our grandparents and parents — Nango and Adelita — grew up with their hands in the earth, cultivating and harvesting with love and respect for nature. We learned that food is more than sustenance: it is a bond with our roots, traditions, and those who came before us. This love for tradition and authenticity inspired us to create Happy Roots — chips made with tropical roots, no additives, no shortcuts.

Our grandparents grew up with their hands in the earth in Muelle de San Carlos, Florencia, Alajuela, Costa Rica. They taught us that food is more than sustenance — it's a bond with our roots and traditions.

This love for tradition and authenticity inspired everything that Happy Roots is today.
